Lotka cards

Lotka is handmade paper from the Daphne bush, which grows on the foothills of the Himalayas. This traditional form of Nepalese paper making uses coppiced wood so it’s more sustainable than ordinary paper. These are screen printed and then overlaid with heart design. Squarer and a bit bigger than A6 size. Comes with an envelope and no message inside. These are made by Mahaguthi Craft with a Conscience, who are a wonderful WFTO (World Fair Trade Organisation) producer group. Nepal’s biggest export is people, who go to Gulf countries mainly to work. Get some beautiful cards and help provide work for Nepalis. Sounds good – it is!
