Description
Mithila is a traditional Nepalese form of painting on Lotka, or handmade paper. Lotka comes from the Daphne bush, which grows on the foothills of the Himalayas.This traditional form of paper making uses coppiced wood so it’s more sustainable than ordinary paper. Squarer or sometimes more rectangular and a bit bigger than A6 size these cards are all handprinted so are all unique. This is a sample of the artwork so we hope you will enjoy the variety of designs as they will vary. Come with envelope and no message inside so suitable for all occasions.
